What if I'm not capable?
Is homeschooling legal in Mexico?
In Mexico, homeschooling is not regulated as such (it is not illegal, it is just not regulated); however, various learning options are accepted and knowledge acquired through self-study or other educational means is recognized and validated.
How can I validate my children's learning?
You can obtain an annual accreditation issued by an umbrella school and subsequently revalidate it directly with the SEP; or you can enroll in the INEA program and take an exam that certifies your primary and/or secondary education, as applicable.
Children who are homeschooled continue to participate in social life like any other family; they attend extracurricular activities, have cousins, neighbors, and friends, meet in groups, and interact with society just like everyone else. Generally speaking, children's socialization will depend on their family's social life.
How do children socialize?
Do I need to follow a specific schedule when homeschooling?
At Kalipay, you are the only ones who decide how, when, and where to carry out the projects; we help you with a weekly dosage proposal, but the work schedules remain entirely in the hands of each family.
Can I enroll my family in the program at any time?
Yes! At Kalipay we have a work schedule that establishes the content in 10 annual projects, which can start at any time of the year without any problem.
Is it possible for Kalipay to give classes directly to my children?
Since the teaching and learning process is based on homeschooling, parents are entirely responsible for carrying it out. Kalipay does not offer online or in-person classes; however, we do have online workshops and consultations where we work directly with families.
